  • The Distribution Education and Re-search Foundation (DREF) (Washington, DC) of the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW) has elected Bob Roberts to its board of directors.

  • The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) (Arlington, VA) has announced that college football coach Lou Holtz will serve as the closing speaker at the 2003 ACCA Conference & Indoor Expo. The conference is scheduled for March 12-15 in Palm Springs, CA.

  • The Sheet Metal Workers’ International Association (SMWIA) (Washington, DC) has appointed Thomas J. Kelly as the union’s new general secretary-treasurer.

  • The East Tennessee Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) will host its regional conference on Sept. 12-15, 2002, in Knoxville, TN. The conference will offer workshops and training, including sessions on indoor air quality and mold issues. For more information, call 865-673-2254.
