The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association (SMACNA) (Chantilly, Va.) has released a free catalog describing the technical manuals and standards available from the association. The catalog spotlights the sixth edition of the Architectural Sheet Metal Manual and the fifth edition of the Fire, Smoke and Radiation Damper Installation Guide for HVAC Systems.
The Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) (Des Plaines, Ill.) has added Bristol Compressors (Bristol, Va.) to its Partners in Education® Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Information campaign. The partnership will provide RSES members with Bristol Compressors technical information.
Joseph Savia, business manager for Steamfitters Local 602, was chosen as chairman for the Mechanical Contractors and Unions Seal of Excellence (CAUSE). The organization is run by the Mechanical Contractors Association of Metropolitan Washington (Lanham, Md.).
