ARI Launches Ductless Equipment Section

ARLINGTON, Va. - The Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) formed a new product section to represent unitary ductless equipment.

"This is an exciting opportunity to bring together manufacturers of ductless equipment to ensure that approved standards are maintained and that a dialogue among industry leaders is established," stated Henry Hwong, ARI's director of product sections.

"ARI's reputation in establishing industry standards and upholding the industry's integrity is well known. The commitment from companies joining the newly established ARI product section further demonstrates those commitments," said Thomas White of Carrier Corp. White serves as chairman of the new section.

Other members of the product section include Daikin Industries, Enviromaster International, Eubank Manufacturing Enterprises Inc., Friedrich Air Conditioning Co., Fujitsu General America, Goodman Manufacturing Corp., LG Electronics USA Inc., Lennox International Inc., Mitsubishi Electric & Electronics USA Inc., Samsung Electronics Co., Sanyo Fisher, and Trane.
