April 26, 2006: Three Aerotech Labs Awarded Accreditation

PHOENIX - Aerotech P&K's laboratory locations in Miami, San Francisco, and Tampa, Fla., have been awarded accreditation through the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).

A2LA accreditation is formal recognition of an organization's technical competency to perform specific tests. For Aerotech P&K's Miami, San Francisco, and Tampa locations, this includes microbiological analyses on air and surface samples. Individual scopes of accreditation for each Aerotech P&K location are available through the Aerotech P&K or A2LA Websites.

Aerotech Laboratories Inc. was first awarded A2LA accreditation in 2003 and was one of the first laboratories in the indoor air quality (IAQ) industry to receive endorsement for direct examination of spore analysis. This enabled Aerotech to offer analyses for tests that had never been accredited before, such as spore trap and surface swab analyses.

Aerotech provides multiple analytical services including IAQ, industrial hygiene (IH), consumer products, food safety, and environmental testing. For more information, visit www.aerotechpk.com.

Additional information on A2LA accreditation is available at www.a2la.org.
