April 19, 2010: SMACNA Offers Three-Part Webinar Series on HVAC Duct Construction Standards

CHANTILLY, Va. - The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA) is presenting a series of three webinars on how to construct HVAC rectangular and round duct for compliance to SMACNA’s HVAC Duct Construction Standards-Metal and Flexible manual (third edition) on April 21, May 6, and May 19, each at 11 a.m. EDT. Led by the association’s technical staff, these 60-minute webinars are open to both SMACNA members and non-members.

According to SMACNA, the webinars will help estimators, fabricators, field personnel, designers, engineers, inspectors, and code officials gain a solid understanding of how to construct duct in a resource-efficient and sustainable manner compliant with SMACNA’s HVAC duct construction standards.

Participants can earn $50 in savings if they sign up for all three webinars in this series. Registration for all three is $235 for members and $385 for non-members. One Internet computer registration fee allows unlimited participants at the same site. For each separate webinar, registration is $95 for members and $145 for non-members.
