ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The Air Movement and Control Association International, Inc. (AMCA) is looking for public comment on AMCA Standard 500L-99, Laboratory Methods of Testing Louvers for Rating. The closing date for comments is September 27, 2001.

According to AMCA, the purpose of this standard is to establish uniform test methods for louvers, including air leakage, pressure drop, water penetration, wind-driven rainwater penetration, and operational torque.
