ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - The Air Movement and Control Association International Inc. (AMCA International) recently installed an additional testing facility for ANSI/AMCA Standard 230-99, Laboratory Methods of Testing Air Circulator Fans for Rating. This standard establishes standardized methods for air performance laboratory test data of circulator fans.

This new testing facility will give AMCA the ability to test circulator fans up to 96 in. (8 ft) in diameter. This recent addition enables AMCA to operate more than one circulator fan test at a time and enables AMCA to provide test data to companies with oversized commercial and industrial circulator fans.

This standard can be ordered via AMCA International's Web site at www.amca.org.
