During the meeting, hosted in part by Trane regional manager Jay Gordon, dealers learned about new Trane products being rolled out in 2006. Trane also unveiled its new consumer Web site, www.trane.com/residential, and an aggressive 2006 advertising campaign.
The Air Purchases management team, led by president Rob Engel, congratulated the recipients of the company's 2005 Trane Dealer Awards. The awards recognize the achievements and contributions of the company's top dealer partners.
Paul Lodge, founder and president of Design Systems Heating and Air Conditioning Inc., Middleboro, Mass., and his business partner, Mike Goyette, received the 2005 Top Gun award recognizing the dealer who has achieved the highest sales levels in both residential and commercial Trane products during the previous year.
Arthur Pickett Jr., president of Royal Air Systems, North Reading, Mass. received the Growth Champion award recognizing the dealer with the greatest increase in Trane sales.
John DiMuccio, president of Carjon Engineering, Smithfield, R.I., received the Highest Customer Satisfaction award recognizing consumer ratings from Trane's ComfortSite Web site. He also received the Extended Warranty Champion award recognizing the dealer who sold the highest number of extended warranties.
Manny Chaves, president of Chaves Heating & Air Conditioning, Hudson, Mass., received the Aftermarket Champion award recognizing the dealer with the greatest sales in Trane parts, and the Retail Up sell Champion award recognizing the dealer with the greatest sales of Trane XL products.
Patrick Judge, president of Harwichport Heating & Cooling, Harwichport, Mass., received the Best Business Partner award recognizing the dealer with the highest total non-Trane sales.
