RB7 Series backseat valves are designed for compressor servicing and other air conditioning and refrig-eration shut-off applications. The valves’ brass-body construction and nickel-plated carbon steel stem virtually eliminate corrosion problems common with steel valves, says the company. The units are available in four body sizes ranging from 3¼4 to 13¼8 in. and encompass refrigerating capacities up to 15 tons. The valves are provided in a variety of flow configurations and are equipped with various connection types, sizes, and mounting options.
