NORTHVALE, N.J. - To encourage customers to perform the recommended annual maintenance on their KC1000 and Benchmark boilers, AERCO is offering specially priced maintenance kits until Dec. 28. Each kit includes a flame detector and spark igniter, which are the only parts that customers are encouraged to replace on a yearly basis.

"The best time to tune up heating equipment is before the start of the season," said Rich Russo, manager of customer technical support at AERCO.

"There's no need for a worn spark igniter or flame detector to turn into a winter crisis. The replacement of these parts is simple and shouldn't take more than a few minutes. AERCO recommends that a combustion calibration also be performed annually to ensure that the units continue to run at peak efficiency."

In addition to these maintenance packages, specially priced toolkits for AERCO certified contractors and service personnel are also available.
