WASHINGTON - Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) announced the winners of its 2011 National Craft Championships competition, held at the association’s EdCon & Expo, April 12-15, in San Antonio, Texas.
Ninety craft professionals took part in 13 craft competitions, representing 10 trades including HVAC, during this year’s competition. Participants first took an intense, two-hour written exam and then competed in daylong hands-on practical performance tests.
The winners in the HVAC trade include:
• Gold: Steven C. Boss, DeTroye Electric Service Inc.
• Silver: Robert J. Wilson, Dilling Group
• Bronze: Thomas Vance Jr., Bel-Mar Air Conditioning Co.
