LONDONDERRY, N.H. — Bosch Thermotechnology Corp. announced that the Consumer Technology Association has honored Bosch with one of its 2017 Innovation Awards for the Bosch Greentherm 9900i SER, the premium model in a new line of tankless condensing water heaters: The Bosch Greentherm 9000 Series.

The CES Innovation Awards are sponsored by the Consumer Technology Association, the producer of CES 2017 show, which runs Jan. 5-8, 2017, in Las Vegas. Entries are evaluated on their engineering, aesthetic, and design qualities, intended use/function and user value, unique/novel features present, and how the design and innovation of the product directly compares to other products in the marketplace.

Bosch’s new Greentherm 9000 Series lineup, which will be available in early 2017, offers nine models for high-efficiency domestic hot water in residential or commercial applications, adding new features for easy installation, operation, and maintenance.

“We are thrilled to receive this recognition,” said Vitor Gregorio, regional president, Bosch Thermotechnology Corp. “It’s a testament to the innovation, engineering, and design that Bosch brings to the entire HVAC category. We’re excited to bring this lineup, and the comfort control it will provide, to people in their homes and businesses across North America.”

Bosch said the Greentherm 9000 Series models are highly energy efficient, particularly the 9900i SER model, which features integrated Wi-Fi controls. Indoor units also feature top-mounted water connections to allow for easier, faster replacement of tank-type water heaters.
