United CoolAir Corp.: Indoor Retrofit Air Conditioner

July 30, 2012
Indoor Retrofit Air ConditionerAdded to the line of flexible indoor systems, the EZ-Fit air conditioner is a modular cooling system designed to overcome the problems of replacing old air conditioning systems without site demolition or the need of special lifting or rigging equipment. Each module ships in three manageable sections, capable of fitting through any standard doorway and most elevators. The air conditioner is available in two cabinet sizes: 10 through 15 ton and 20 through 25 tons. The cabinets can be ganged together to provide 100 tons or more of cooling capacity. The EZ-Fit arrives fully charged and tested requiring no jobsite brazing, evacuation, or charging. Heat removal is standard water-cooled with an option for chilled-water or water-source heat pump configurations. Air-cooled is available with the addition of a remote condenser. Standard blower is a double-width, double-inlet (DWDI) with a direct drive parallel fan system or plenum fan options. Other options include a microprocessor control or a VFD for variable air volume. The EZ-Fit is designed for complete indoor installation, eliminating the need for rooftop or pad mounting.
