Of the 331 companies that participated in the survey, only 160 met the benchmark, for being a top employer. The Star Tribune article stated that Minnesota has more companies that meet its national benchmark than any of the other 30 markets the firm surveyed, which includes areas such as Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, and Atlanta.
