TD Industries has announced the appointment of Dora Ann Verde to its board of directors. Verde, a CPA and partner in the public accounting firm of Garza/Gonzalez & Associates in San Antonio will serve as chairperson for TD Industries’ audit committee.

According to Jack Lowe Jr., board chair of TD Industries, “We are fortunate to name Dora Ann Verde to our board and are very impressed with her exceptional qualifications.”

Added Lowe, “Ms. Verde has successfully led accounting, auditing, and business consulting projects in both the public and private sectors. Her extensive professional experience and volunteer leadership positions within the San Antonio community and in Texas will be an invaluable asset to our board.”

Verde is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, San Antonio Chapter of Certified Public Accountants, and the Government Finance Officers Association. She currently serves as chair of the board of Texas Public Radio, vice chair of the board of Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corp. and chair of its Budget, Finance and Audit Committee, and is secretary to the board of ACCION Texas. She is also a member and past treasurer for San Antonio 100 and the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

TD Industries is an employee-owned company with corporate offices in Dallas. The firm is a facilities management and specialty construction company.
