GREENVILLE, Ill. — Enertech Manufacturing LLC has announced the completion of its Mitchell, S.D., plant expansion. The company has doubled the size of its current production facility in order to meet growing product demands. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the Mitchell facility, where approximately 125 GeoComfort® and Hydron Module® geothermal heating and cooling dealers were in attendance. The 20,000-square-foot expansion broke ground in mid-December and met its targeted April completion date.

“The new addition significantly increases our production capacity and improves the overall flow of our production processes,” said Steve Smith, managing partner for Enertech Manufacturing. “The expansion was fueled by the continued growth of our GeoComfort geothermal heating and cooling systems that we have witnessed in recent years.”

Enertech Manufacturing LLC acquired the manufacturing facility and intellectual property of Hydron Module LLC in Oct. 2007. Prior to that time, Hydron Module was the only brand being produced at the factory. Upon the acquisition, the managing partners of Enertech committed to doubling the plant footprint in order to meet demands of their flagship brand, GeoComfort branded geothermal heating and cooling equipment. Enertech also obtained and continues to produce and market the Hydron Module brand.
