The FlexSure® system is a method of connecting solar panels and a hot-water storage tank. It features corrugated, semirigid 316L stainless steel tubing (CSST) as well as a full range of accessories including a series of patent-pending fittings featuring a dependable, multipoint seal. Part of the FlexSure product line is the Dual Solar Tubing. The two flexible stainless steel tubes come pre-insulated with elastomeric EPDM insulation and a UV-resistant covering. Identification marks distinguish the supply and return lines. Easy to bend, the tubing comes in two standard lengths: 50 and 75 feet. Custom lengths are available upon request. The tubing is available in three diameters (5/8, 3/4, and 1-inch CSST) and two insulation thicknesses (5/8 and 1 inch). By combining the supply and return lines in one easy-to-separate enclosure, the user’s installation time is cut in one-half, says the company.
