Lightweight and nonmarring carbon fiber composite 3- and 6-inch digital Fraction+ calipers have been added to the manufacturer’s lineup of digital calipers in the UltraTECH™ tool family. The fractional calipers feature high-contrast liquid crystal displays with large, easy-to-read numbers. Display modes include inches to four decimal places (with a resolution of 0.0005 inches); fractional inches to 1/64 of an inch (with a resolution of 1/64 inch); and millimeters to two decimal places (with a resolution of 0.01mm). The slides are calibrated in both inches and millimeters with a range of function from 0 to 3 inches (0-76 mm) in the 3-inch model (no. 1433) and 0 to 6 inches (0-153 mm) in the 6-inch model (no. 146). The 3-inch model includes a convenient pocket clip.
