Spencer Abraham Goes To Amsterdam
WASHINGTON - Secretary of Energy Spencer Abraham went to Amsterdam May 19 to participate in the International Energy Forum (IEF) May 22-24. The event was hosted by the Netherlands.
The "high-level, biennial informal gathering" brings together top-level executives from energy-producing nations and energy consumers to discuss world issues, according to the U.S. Department of Energy.
The IEF said it expected delegations from 80 countries. Secretary Abraham was expected to meet with ministers from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Indonesia.
