SMACNA’s chief lobbyist has a warning for sheet metal shops engaged in federal work. Even though a government shutdown was averted this week, it’s still in the cards for 2024 – likely more than once.

A dedicated team of contractor volunteers arrived two days before the competitions to assemble the competitor test benches, distribute the materials and supplies and set up the testing areas.
