Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute members said they are ramping up production to meet demand in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

The hardware and building materials cooperative known as Do It Best Corp., has honored Metal Sales Manufacturing with a Vendor of the Year Award. 

More than 100 million of its compressors have been produced since 1987. The units are used by all major HVACR manufacturers worldwide.
