Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church in Omaha, Neb., has a long history, and preserving it is a top priority for the church’s members.

If you ask anyone in the HVAC construction or sheet metal works industry where the next AHR Expo is taking place, there’s a good chance they’ll answer “Chicago.”

 A New Hampshire county has purchased a biomass boiler green HVAC system to serve a nursing home and prison.  

 The company’s water-source variable-refrigerant flow ductless system is designed to boost HVAC construction energy efficiency. 

 The year-old headquarters uses Mitsubishi’s own variable-refrigerant flow green HVAC zoning systems. 

 In the past four years, the Virginia-based HVAC construction and plumbing wholesaler has given a total of 15,000 toys to organizations such as Toys for Tots. 

 Coatings maker MetoKote Corp. recently held a ceremony to mark the opening of its Melbane, N.C., facility.  

 The approval makes it likely it will be incorporated into many state and local building codes, including those used in HVAC construction.

 Winners in each of eight regions earned a trip to the International Builders’ Show next month in Las Vegas. 

 Firms added jobs in 38 states and Washington, D.C., between October and November.
