Broan-NuTone names top finishers in HVAC construction contest
Contractors from Las Vegas, Cleveland and Salt Lake City were among the top contestants in Broan-NuTone’s Ultra Pro Challenge.
The 112-stop nationwide tour was a chance for HVAC construction companies to learn about the Ultra Pro ventilation fan and find out who could install it the quickest.
“The ULTRA Pro Challenge strikes the perfect balance between work and play,” said Danny Lipford, host of the syndicated TV show “Today’s Homeowner With Danny Lipford.” “Contractors can experience firsthand a revolutionary product that will bring value to their businesses, while having some fun with colleagues along the way.”
An estimated 3,600 people from 32 states saw the tour, with 1,100 trying to install the green HVAC fan.
Winners in each of eight regions earned a trip to the International Builders’ Show next month in Las Vegas.
Richard Palmersheim, a marketing vice president at Broan-NuTone, said the contest and tour were a hit.
“This year’s Ultra Pro Challenge was a great success,” Palmersheim said. “The Ultra Pro Ventilation Fan was designed for quick and easy installation to save contractors time and money, and we’re confident that the 2014 Ultra Pro Challenge was able to convey those benefits to our contractors in a fun, upbeat environment.”
The final competition will take place Jan. 21 in Las Vegas during the Builders Show.
