The money comes from the Danfoss Turbocor Compressors division and the Mads Clausen Foundation, an organization formed in Denmark in 1960 by the founder of the HVAC market company.
The agreement, which was accepted by the government’s Appliance Standards and Rulemaking Federal Advisory Committee, will be submitted to the Energy Department for approval and implementation.
