WATERLOO, Ontario, Canada — Viessmann Canada, a manufacturer of heating and renewable energy systems, has launched new heat-pump products for residential and light commercial applications.

The Vitocal 100-S single-zone air-to-air ductless heat pump system is designed for reliable comfort, even in extreme climates, a press release from Viessmann said. Suitable for a wide range of installations, including both new builds and retrofits, the Vitocal 100-S offers ultra-quiet operation and high-efficiency inverter technology, the press release said. Minimal installation requirements make ductless heat pumps ideal for applications with limited space and in places where ductwork does not exist, the press release said.

The Vitocal 100-S single-zone air-to-air ducted heat pump system combines the advantages of ducted heating and cooling with the efficiency and flexibility of ductless inverter technology, providing a compact, cost effective, and complete solution for whole-home comfort, the company said. The system offers quiet operation, a compact design, and the efficiency of inverter technology while also supporting the reuse of existing refrigerant lines, ductwork, thermostats, fan coils, and furnaces, the company said. The system can be used to upgrade an existing ducted system, installed in a new home, or be used to heat and cool a home addition.

The Vitocal 200-S multi-zone air-to-air ductless heat pump system is designed for customizable comfort across multiple spaces, delivering reliable heating and cooling with inverter technology for optimized performance and energy-saving efficiencies, the press release said. Homeowners can mix and match each outdoor unit with up to five indoor units. The model is ideal for residential and light commercial applications, or larger projects in more challenging climates, the company said. It also offers an intuitive control system.

“Our mission is to drive innovation that supports the ever-changing demands of the industry,” said Ben Jewell, head of product and an engineer at Viessmann Canada. “These new products reflect our commitment to providing advanced, reliable, and energy-efficient solutions for contractors and homeowners. By offering superior performance, simplified installation, and long-term reliability, we continue to set new standards in heating and cooling technology.”
