Ziehl-Abegg celebrates 10 years in the USA
Ziehl-Abegg recently celebrated 10 years of business within the United Sates. Peter Fenkl, CEO of Ziehl-Abegg SE in Germany, visited the U.S. headquarters in Greensboro, NC, on August 8, to mark the occasion.
Ziehl-Abegg is a global company in the ventilation and drive technology sector with matching control technology. Examples of application areas for the products include heating and refrigeration plants, clean rooms, and agricultural systems. In Greensboro there are located production, sales, administration, and after service. The headquarters of Ziehl-Abegg USA is responsible for the sales offices in the regions of the Gulf Coast, East Coast, Midwest, and West Coast. This allowed Ziehl-Abegg USA to rise from a local player in the USA to a North American player serving the entire North American continent with offices in all regions of the USA, Mexico, and Canada.
“We are very close to the customers,” said Mirco Herrmann, managing director of Ziehl-Abegg USA. “We see a great advantage in having our own production in Greensboro. So we are very adaptable for all customers’ wishes.”
Herrmann underscores that the great success in the last 10 years is based on the hard work of each employee. Today, almost 40 employees are working for Ziehl-Abegg in Greensboro.
