Armstrong REVIT files available through Autodesk® service
Armstrong Fluid Technology has announced the availability of REVIT models for select Armstrong products on the The Autodesk® Seek web service. Engineers and system designers needing BIM models for Armstrong Design Envelope solutions will now be able to retrieve REVIT models that conform to the latest standards outlined by Seek.
The Autodesk Seek web service can be found by visiting http://seek.autodesk.com.
These REVIT models can be converted and used interchangeably with any Autodesk software product such as Autodesk Revit® or AutoCAD® and other BIM software in the ifc format. The files also include parametric data that will help designers with calculations regarding product performance.
“This is a great step that we’re taking to better serve our customers,” said Brent Ross, Armstrong’s global director of Configured Building Equipment. “Engineers have been asking for REVIT files in this format for quite some time, and I'm pleased that Armstrong is now responding with high-quality drawings that will serve the engineering and design community.”
