BIM-Revit available for Weil-McLain SlimFit boiler
Weil-McLain has officially rolled out BIM-Revit files for the SlimFit™ Commercial High Efficiency Condensing boiler. The roll out is due to a partnership with Autodesk Seek and Anguleris Technologies.
The SlimFit boiler is an extension of Weil-McLain’s Commercial High Efficiency Condensing Boiler line (550MBH & 750 MBH), which is available in three sizes: 1,000 MBH, 1,500 MBH, and 2,000 MBH. The packaged boiler is on wheels, and according to the company, the compact design requires minimal clearance so that it fits through most typical doorways due to its narrow design. It can be further split in half at the jobsite to allow for maneuvering around tight corners, narrow hallways, and small elevators. With a combustion efficiency rating above 96%, the SlimFit satisfies the same needs that could be provided by a larger system but without the inefficiency.
Using the Autodesk Seek web service enables designers, architects, and engineers to discover, preview, and download BIM content, drawings, and specifications. For Weil-McLain, the company says it is a unique way to connect with designers, architects, and engineers who specify or recommend heating products.
