Silicone Added to Design Polymerics Lineup

Construction grade 100% Acetoxy RTV Silicones leave a permanently flexible seal/bond while contributing LEED credits

Design Polymerics, a Meridian Adhesives Group company, recently announced the addition of high-performance HVAC, industrial, commercial and residential construction grade 100% Acetoxy RTV Silicones to their product offerings.  DP 502 Silicone is available in aluminum gray, clear, white and black. DP 503 High Temperature Silicone is available in red. DP Silicones will provide long term performance on both interior and exterior applications without sagging or slumping – leaving a permanently flexible seal/bond.

DP 502 and 503 adhere to galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum, wood, fiberglass, PVC, PVS, and painted substrates. DP 503 may also be used for high temperature gasketing applications, fireplace manufacturing, appliance manufacturing and sealing heating elements.

All are “Low VOC” and contribute to LEED V4 credit for low emitting materials.  

Respectively, these Design Polymerics products comply with are UL Recognized and passes ASTM G26 with 10,000 hours of accelerated QUV age testing. Design Polymerics sealants meet FDA Regulation No. 21 CFR177.2600, NSF Standard 51, ASTM C920 Type S, Grade NS, Class 25, MIL-46106 TYPE 1 and TT-S 001543A, TT-S 00230C Type II requirements

Design Polymerics began manufacturing sealants, adhesives, insulation mastics and indoor air quality products in 1985. They have an office in Columbus, Ohio and a manufacturing plant in Santa Ana, California.

All products have been extensively tested and proven to maintain toughness, flexibility, and durability even under the most extreme weather conditions.
