A recent duct layout design in Boston, Massachusetts, required a lot of elbow grease to be completed.

For a commercial restaurant hub in Beantown, Apex Corporation fabricated a 16-gauge welded, 9'x 9' high grease exhaust duct with a 34,000 CFM exhaust through it.

“This job had nine restaurants in one area,” says Apex. “It’s possibly the largest in New England.”

In restaurant spaces, poorly balanced ventilation systems — either by design or installation oversight — can change a kitchen’s critical air pressure from negative to positive.

A family owned business for more than three generations, APEX Corporation specializes in heating, venting, and air conditioning of commercial and government spaces. A union shop, the Apex was established since 1964
