Why Baltimore Aircoil Company's Vertex Evaporative Condenser is low maintenance

By Emell Derra Adolphus
March 13, 2019

The Vertex Evaporative Condenser by Baltimore Aircoil Company is billed as the company's lowest in installation, maintenance and operating costs system. For starters, the industrial-grade rigidity of the unit, the upper section can be aligned to the lower section in less than 15 minutes per cell, reduces installation costs by 30 percent.

Additional features include:

  • Water volume is reduced by up to 30 percet, saving on water and chemical costs. This helps reduce the operating weight by an average of 16 percent.
  • Using a direct-drive electronically commutated (EC) fan system maximizes reliability and uptime, reduces operating costs, while requiring no regular maintenance.
  • Redundancy in the overall design of the unit (fans, motors, and pumps) ensures customers will enjoy peace of mind and uninterrupted operation.
  • One of the largest access doors and walkways on an evaporative condenser in the industry, the Vertex Evaporative Condenser allows for safe and easy maintenance, alleviating confined space concerns.
