ASHRAE building conference registration opens
An estimated 60 presentations and 120 white papers will be part of the conference.
The public can now register to attend this year’s ASHRAE Building Performance Analysis Conference and SimBuild. The event will take place Sept. 26-28, 2018, at the Hilton Chicago.
An estimated 60 presentations and 120 white papers will be part of the program, including subjects such as net-zero building, energy performance, calibration, and health and wellness.
“The goal of this conference is to present the new techniques and workflows that will help researchers and practitioners make better decisions during the simulation and modeling process of an entire building life cycle,” says Krishnan Gowri, conference chairman. “Our presenters will address the practices of building performance analysis, energy modeling and building performance simulation using existing simulation tools, software development and future simulation research and applications.”
The fourth annual ASHRAE LowDown Showdown modeling competition will take place during the conference.
