Organizers: 2018 AHR Expo likely record-setting
It’s a little early for final numbers – the 2018 AHR Expo just ended Wednesday – but organizers say it appears to be the largest in the 80-plus-year history of the event.
“We can say without a doubt that this has been the biggest show yet,” said Clay Stevens, president of the International Exposition Co., which manages the event. It’s a record in every way — square footage, exhibitors, international exhibitors and attendance.”
Show officials were predicting 65,000 attendees and more than 2,000 exhibitors at Chicago’s McCormick Place this week. Final numbers will be released soon, they said.
