Indiana students learn about sheet metal careers
Sheet metal workers, roofers and plumbers were among the trades that were highlighted Tuesday during a union-sponsored event designed to interest students in construction careers.
The Northwest Indiana Construction and Skilled Trades Day was sponsored by 14 unions who brought 1,000 students from area high schools to see what’s possible in a construction career.
