AHR Expo seeks contest entries
AHR Expo organizers are seeking entries for next year’s Innovation Awards.
Entries in 10 product categories will be judged by a panel of industry experts, with winners announced prior to the opening of the expo, which is scheduled for Jan. 22-24, 2018, at McCormick Place convention center in Chicago.
Winners will recognized at a Jan. 23 ceremony and the overall Product of the Year Award winner will be announced at the same time.
“These awards publicly acknowledge the hard work companies contribute toward the future of the industry,” said Clay Stevens, president of International Exposition Co., which produces and manages the expo. “Each year, several hundred companies submit their latest products. While we only can select 10 winners, it is exciting to see the drive for innovation in our industry continue to grow.”
Entries are accepted through Aug. 16 in the following categories: building automation; cooling; green building; heating; indoor air quality; plumbing; refrigeration; software; tools and instruments; and ventilation.
The contest has a $100 entry fee, which is earmarked for a local charity. Details and applications are available here.
