Refrigeration equipment maker wins state award
M&M Refrigeration has been named a 2016 Champion of Maryland Manufacturing. The award was given to the HVAC market refrigeration company by the state’s Regional Manufacturing Institute.
The company’s owner, Darcy McConnell, was recognized for deciding to expand his business in 2009 — a time when many companies were reeling from the Great Recession. M&M CEO Duane Marshall credited the company’s workers for the award.
“At M&M Refrigeration, we work hard every day to deliver on our promises to customers,” Marshall said. “We are pleased to employ so many great people on the beautiful eastern shore of Maryland. They are the ones who earned this honor.”
