WaterFurnace offers rebates
$500-$1,000 available to buyers
Geothermal green HVAC manufacturer WaterFurnace International Inc. has started a promotion to encourage homeowners to switch to the earth-friendly equipment, and entice those who already have geothermal to upgrade.
Through Dec. 9, homeowners who decide try geothermal with the purchase a Series 7 or Series 5 heat pumps will qualify for an instant $1,000 or $500 rebate. Customers who are upgrading to the Series 5 or 7 will earn $500 to $1,000 in rebates.
Both models use the renewable solar energy stored in the ground to save homeowners up to 70 percent on heating and cooling, and hot water bills.
“With the 30 percent federal tax credit set to expire at the end of this year, this is the perfect time to take advantage of these rebate programs,” said Tim Litton, WaterFurnace’s director of marketing communications. “Homeowners who install a 7 Series or 5 Series geothermal unit will benefit from greater comfort, greener system operation and incredible yearly savings on heating, cooling and hot water.”
