HARDI staffer to retire
Employee's work dates to predecessor NHAW
A longtime HARDI staff member is retiring.
Sue Calvin, whose background in HVAC market distribution dates back to 1991 and the Northamerican Heating & Airconditioning Wholesalers (a predecessor to the Heating, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International), is retiring July 1.
Calvin is the staff liaison to the impact and manufacturer representatives committees, adding the HARDI charitable organization Helping All Live On in 2011.
HALO, which in recent years supported Homes for Our Troops, was special to Calvin.
“As I close this chapter of my life, I will miss all of the wonderful friends I’ve made in our members over the years,” she said. “I’m most proud of the impact HALO and our members have made for our veterans though HFOT, growing annual contributions five-fold since 2011. I lost someone very close to my heart in the Vietnam War and this has been my tribute to him.”
