Fieldpiece adds to clamp meter line
HVAC market instruments manufacturer Fieldpiece has added two products to its clamp meter line.
The SC460 and SC660 offer the ability to transmit measurements and can calculate power and system efficiency. The SC660 has lead storage, swivel heads and backlighting.
Russ Harju, product manager at Fieldpiece, said they’re the kind of products HVAC construction contractors are looking for.
Mobile devices are the way the world works now,” he said. “Being able to record electrical measurements, calculate SEER (seasonal energy-efficiency ratio) and EER (energy-efficiency ratio) and save and print reports all from a smart phone or tablet is the most efficient use of the HVACR field service pro’s time.”
