HARDI announces conference lineup
Executives from CFM Distributors, Gustave A. Larson Co. and Illco are among the mentors an HVAC market wholesalers group is bringing to its 2016 “emerging leaders” conference in July.
The Heating, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International said the 12 industry leaders will offer advice and guidance to member company executives likely to eventually run their company’s HVAC distribution businesses.
The conference is scheduled for July 17-19 in Chicago.
“Growing up in the industry, I was fortunate to have plenty of people to look up to who guided me on my journey,” said HARDI President Michael Meier, who will serve as one of the event’s mentors. “It’s a rewarding feeling to give back in the same way and I encourage other leaders in the industry to do the same whether it’s through formal mentorship opportunities like this or simply taking a young employee under his or her wing.”
