AMCA gives award
The Air Movement and Control Association International Inc. has awarded its 2015 Distinguished Service Award to Art LaPointe, group president of Construction Specialties Inc.
Construction Specialties has been an AMCA member for more than 35 years, and LaPointe has been involved with AMCA for roughly 20 years.
He is a past president of AMCA. LaPointe was a member of the AMCA board of directors for almost 10 years, and he held executive positions as secretary, treasurer, vice president, president and board chairman.
