The Air Movement and Control Association International said its recent Middle East event was a success.

The Nov. 22, 2015, technical seminar took place in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

The seminar covered designing and specifying air systems for commercial HVAC construction in the region. Subjects discussed included specifying, sizing, retrofitting and AMCA-certified products.

Attendees included members of the business community as well as representatives from the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning’ Engineers’ Falcon Chapter, and Mideast employees of Greenheck, McGill and Titus.

“This was AMCA’s largest ever event in the Middle East, and we wish to thank our partner, ASHRAE-Falcon Chapter, and its members for the support,” said AMCA International Executive Director Mark Stevens. “Dubai is known for eye-popping architecture. Engineers in the region should be credited for high performance mechanical systems, as well.”
