Franchise company Founders Day to be this month
HVAC market franchise holding company the Dwyer Group will hold its 21st annual Founder Day celebration this month in Waco, Texas.
The event, which parks the passing of Dwyer founder Don Dwyer Sr. in 1994, will take place Oct. 31. Activities include charity work and seminars on public speaking, business management and setting goals.
“This is a time for us to take a break from the everyday work routine, remember why Don Dwyer Sr. created this company, listen to great speakers, give back to the community and even work on personal development across a variety of topics,” said Mike Bidwell, president and CEO of Dwyer Group. “Don wanted all his employees to not only be successful, but to live better, happier lives. That’s what Founder’s Day is all about.”
The Dwyer Group’s brands include HVAC market service franchise Air Serv as well as Glass Doctor, Grounds Guys, Five Star Painting, Molly Maid, Mr. Appliance, Mr. Electric, Mr. Handyman and Mr. Rooter.
