The U.S. Postal Service has hired HVAC construction contractor Emcor to perform maintenance on its 32,000 facilities in the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Emcor Group subsidiary Emcor Facilities Services will maintain the interiors and exteriors of the post offices, including electrical, HVAC market mechanical, plumbing or general work.

Emcor facilities division President Dan Rodstrom said the company is well-versed in how to meet the postal service’s needs.

“For the last nine years Emcor Facilities Services has provided a range of services to the United States Postal Service,” he said. “We’re proud to continue serving its locations, performing services integral in helping support its critical mission. In being chosen for this ongoing, significant assignment, we’re gratified for the confidence and satisfaction shown in our services by the USPS and we’re committed to continuing the quality of  work we provide in assuring the interior and exterior of its facilities are in good repair and able to fulfill their diverse needs.”
