Spectronics Corp. announced a number of moves within the company. Michael C. Fleming is now director of product management.

In his new position, Fleming will be in charge of LED product management and developing new markets for all the Spectroline and Tracerline products.

 “I look forward to the challenge of expanding and improving Spectronics’ product line and to the continued success of Spectronics Corp.,” Fleming said.

The company also promoted Daniel Cooper to general manager of operations.

In his new role, Cooper will oversee prototype design, research and development, marketing and customer satisfaction. He will also be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Spectronics’ products, and making sure they are shipped quickly.

Limin Chen has been promoted to vice president of manufacturing and special projects.

He will now oversee Spectronics’ manufacturing/engineering team. He will also lead Spectronics’ plant engineering team, which is responsible for the overall maintenance of the manufacturing facility.

The company has also promoted Daniel Chusid to technical sales and regulatory compliance specialist.

He has been with the company for eight years, holding previous positions that included sales administrator, international customer service specialist and technical sales specialist.

Chusid is now responsible for maintaining legal and regulatory compliance for the company. He will also provide direction to affected business areas regarding changes in operation required for compliance.

Spectronics promoted Debra Hammond to global customer service manager. In her new role, Hammond will be responsible for streamlining the daily work flow of both the international and domestic customer service departments.

“My primary focus will be to continue to maintain, nurture and strengthen the customer relationships our sales team creates worldwide. These relationships are critical, since our customers will continually come back to us when their needs are satisfactorily addressed,” she said.
