Entries now accepted for Hilmor HVAC market tool contest
Hilmor’s third annual HVAC market scholarship contest is now under way.
Open to HVAC construction and sheet metal works students in the U.S. and Canada, contestants enter by writing a 250-word essay on how an HVAC market job will “retool their lives.”
Winners will receive a $5,000 scholarship, a free trip to the AHR Expo annual HVAC construction trade show and Hilmor tools. The HVAC market trade schools that winners attend will also receive 40 Hilmor tools, a prize worth more than $5,000.
“We in the industry have a responsibility to encourage careers in HVACR, which is why we developed the Retool Your Future program,” said Hilmor marketing manager Andrea Halpin. “Hilmor prides itself on bringing innovative tools to HVACR technicians, and the most important time to introduce these tools is when students are going through their training and preparing to enter the industry.”
