Occupants of a downtown Shreveport, La., hotel evacuated the building on Monday, March 9, after a fire broke out in one of the rooms, KTBS.com reports. The fire is still under investigation.

Fire dept. officials say the fire started near an HVAC unit on one of the top floors of the Holiday Inn.

Officials say the room was heavily involved with flames when they arrived. All of the hotel's occupants made it out safely, they said.
