Uponor given award for HVAC construction
Radiant HVAC market products manufacturer Uponor North America has been given a “partner” award from a U.S. home builder.
Uponor was given a Partners of Choice Award from Houston-based David Weekley Homes, one of the nation’s largest private home builders.
"We are very honored to receive this recognition," said Carl Hines, national builder sales manager at Uponor. "Being chosen by the employees of David Weekley Homes as a top supplier is quite humbling, and we intend to continue to provide only superior quality and service in our partnership.”
Uponor is one of just 13 David Weekley suppliers — out of about 200 — to earn the award. Companies must receive an “A-A” grade for quality and service from the builder.
"You can't talk your way to a good score," said Bill Justus, David Weekley’s vice president of supply chain services. "The only way to get an 'A-A' ranking is through consistent, sustained action."
