If you need a hotel room for next year’s International Roofing Expo, you’re in luck: the convention’s housing and travel office has opened.

People planning to attend the Feb. 24-26, 2015, show at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans can book rooms, car rentals and airline tickets through Travel Planners, the show’s official agency.

“We negotiated the lowest rates and amenities at a variety of hotels in proximity to the Convention Center,” said show director Tracy Garcia. “Attendees and exhibitors are encouraged to reserve their rooms early, as hotels sell out quickly and discounted rates are only available for a limited time.”

Rooms that are in the convention block and guaranteed to be at the lowest rates include Hampton Inn, Hilton New Orleans Riverside, Hyatt Place and the headquarters hotel, the New Orleans Marriott. A free shuttle is available to and from properties not within walking distance of the convention hall, organizers added.
