Panasonic changes order process for HVAC market
Customers of Panasonic’s HVAC market and power tools divisions will now order parts through Encompass Supply Chain Solutions Inc., the distributor said.
Starting June 9, all orders should go through Encompass instead of ordering directly from Panasonic. Accounts with Panasonic will remain open until July 1 to allow the processing of backorders. After that, exiting orders will be canceled and must be resubmitted through Encompass.
"We are very excited to be expanding our relationship with Panasonic into new vertical markets beyond consumer electronics," said Robert Coolidge,Encompass president and CEO. "Encompass is ready to leverage our expertise and success with the Panasonic consumer electronics parts supply program to HVAC and power tools."
Brad Moszkiewicz, Panasonic’s service delivery director, said the move is designed to boost HVAC sales customer satisfaction.
"Over the past several months Encompass has fully met our expectations for parts support for our consumer electronics service network, and we anticipate the same high level of service for our HVAC and power tools servicers," Moszkiewicz said.
